The Contraceptive Vote

October 16th

Women  want more than “pelvic politics”.  Newest Gallup poll indicates women in swing  states are taking a new look at the Romney/ Ryan positions.   It is important that Catholics make their voices heard–too many women, even Catholics, have the impression that a Romney victory means the end of access to birth control.  Not so. The Republican platform says nothing about contraceptive access. Rather it defends religious freedom–the right of people of conscience to not be coerced into paying for an immoral act. Contraception will be just as available as it is now– it simply protects Catholics from coercion.

Obama: Catholics and other Christians will be forced to pay for contraceptives, sterilizations and abortion inducing drugs under  Obamacare. Thus, over 50 dioceses and catholic organizations have filed suit against the administration  seeking relief under the   religious liberty provision of the Constitution.

Romney:   Contraceptives remain available as they are today. Catholics and others not forced to pay for such services.

Considering this blog’s support for the abolishment of birth control, it is quite comical that you would defend Romney/Ryan, even in a by proxy sense of them being better than Obama/Biden, if they truly do not want to do away with birth control, just as you obviously do!

“Rather it defends religious freedom–the right of people of conscience…”

LOL!?! …as if only religious ppl are those who have a conscience, as this comment so blisteringly implies! This is an implied form of bigotry, against secularist’s & atheist’s, and being that it is SEVERELY anti-American just goes to show that you hate this country and everything that it stand’s for!

“… to not be coerced into paying for an immoral act.”

It’s not immoral. So, saying that it is…is, truly, just an attempt to cater to those religiously minded ppl, religious fundamentalist’s in particularly, that think that the Earth really is flat, that the Earth really is at the “Center of the Universe”, that “2+2=5” & that science has been lying to us all along… It’s anti-science. It’s anti-education. It’s anti-American and you should be ashamed of yourself. (And I suspect that you are, hiding behind a blog & all…)

There’s a bunch of other sh!t on here that I could comment about but, I don’t have the rest of my life to make comment after comment about the bullsh!t that makes so stupid & so wrong. Such as the character assassination of Margaret Sanger! The demonization of her, as being racist, etc., is, & always has been, about NOTHING but, a scare tactic in an attempt to ensure the support of non-white’s as you anti-American scum go on & on, trying to overturn Roe v Wade; Margaret Sanger was NOT a bigot, AT ALL!!!

And this character assassination of her might actually be illegal; particularly if you know that you are talking trash about her that is completely untrue!

You should rename this blog… “Properly Ashamed Of Me, Myself And Everything That I Stand For”

    You’re welcome!

  2. Morpheus, to oppose chemical contraception IS to be pro-American because it laments the loss of at least 50 million of our citizens over the last 40 years.
